PooWords - Rules, Guidelines, and Other Notes

The following guidelines are laid out so everybody can have a fun and enjoyable game.  If you are playing with your own group of friends, feel free to bend the rules.  These are only really a guideline for the default rules of play.

Adjectives
The subject of adjectives is a tricky one.  When they are used in context, they are always okay, but when used simply to allow you to put something in with the right letter, you are at the mercy of other players to not reject your answer.  Please note that if you do decide to use adjectives in certain situations, you must remember that you can not use the word (or variant thereof) in another answer.  For example, if you had the category of "Colours" and then "Things you find in the room" and the chosen letter was "R", you couldn't say "Red" for colour and then "Red socks" for things you find in the room.

Explanations
Whilst not advised, if you feel you should put an explanation within the answer ie. "afaik (As Far As I Know)", please use brackets around the explanation, as this will avoid causing problems with regards scoring.

Language
The categories and gameplay in general is in English.  It is left up to the players in the game to decide whether or not they wish to allow or reject non-English answers and vote accordingly.

Repetition
No word should be used twice (including variations).  For example, if you have "Colour" and "Fruit" and the chosen letter is O, you can not use Orange as both answers.  Similarly, you can't then say Orange Chair for furniture.  Make your words count :)
